fogliaverdeThe Badia's Rooms preserve the old and most characteristic aspects of Tuscan rural architecture: the typical terracotta pavements, the wooden beams of the ceilings, the fireplaces, the doors, the rural furniture and the stone stairs.

fogliaverdeThe Rooms in the Farmer's House are very large and furnished in Tuscan country style. From the big windows you can have a good view on the landscape of the estate.

fogliaverdeOutdoors our Guests can find the Barbecue area on the stone-paved courtyard in front of the Farmer House, the Swimming-Pool with the Solarium, the little Pine-Wood, where they can relax from the sun heat, read or have their breakfast, the Giant Sequoia-Wood, where they go walking and the Playing Area for children and adults, where they can enjoy playing table tennis or bowls.

Tenute di Badia was once a Monastery, built as a home by the Benedictin Monks from  St.Pietro a Pozzeveri.

Located along the path of the Via Francigena, a piglirm route from the Middle Age that used to connect Rome to Canterbury, this place used to be a shelter for wayfarers from all over Europe.

Today, after five Centuries, we still carry on this tradition of hospitality and welcoming.
